How it works

The member’s side, end to end — narrated, with captions.Narrated, captioned recording of a phone. A text from the ward’s executive secretary carries a booking link; the member opens Kirkland 5th Ward’s booking page, picks a Sunday at 11:30 AM with the bishop, enters a name and mobile number, and ticks the box for text reminders — a sample reminder shows it never names the interview. They confirm, a confirmation text arrives, they add it to their calendar, and the booking appears on the bishopric’s schedule beside the counselors’ other interviews. Staged sample data.
  1. Set availability once

Add availability windows for each interview type — temple recommend, ministering, callings, and anything else you conduct. Open slots generate automatically and respect the busy times on your connected Google, Microsoft, or Apple calendar.

  2. Share your booking link

Copy it, text it, or put it in the ward program. Members open it in any browser — no account, no app, no phone tag with the executive secretary.

  3. Members book — and show up

Members pick a time in seconds and get confirmations plus reminders by text and email. Reminder texts stay generic, so the interview type is never exposed.

Who it’s for

Bishoprics, Elders Quorum and Relief Society presidencies, and Stake presidencies — standalone or bundled for a whole ward or stake. See pricing.

Common questions

Is Minster affiliated with the Church?

No. Minster is an independent service — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is built and run by members who wanted interview scheduling to take seconds, not phone tag.

Do members need an account or an app to book?

No. Members open your booking link in any web browser, pick a time, and are done — no account, no app, no password. Confirmations and reminders arrive by text or email.

What do the text-message reminders reveal?

As little as possible. Reminder texts are deliberately generic — they never include the interview type, so a glance at a lock screen reveals nothing sensitive.

Does it sync with our calendars?

Yes. Leaders can connect Google, Microsoft (Outlook), or Apple (iCloud) calendars. Busy times are respected automatically, and booked interviews appear on the connected calendar.

What about members who are not comfortable online?

Leaders and secretaries can book on a member’s behalf in a few taps, and the member still gets the same confirmation and reminders by text or email.

How much does it cost?

Plans start at $4.99/month for a single leader, with presidency plans and ward or stake bundles that cover every participating leader. Annual billing gets 2 months free, and every plan starts with a free trial.
